Joni and Friends Central California
Welcome to the Central California ministry of Joni and Friends. Our office was founded by our director, David Hooker, in January of 2004. With the assistance of a local Board of Ministry Development we’ve involved thousands of people in serving people affected by disability.
Our mission is to communicate the gospel and equip Christ-honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities.
Our vision is to accelerate Christian ministry in the disability community by following Christ's command to “go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, crippled, the blind and the lame... make them come in, so that my house will be full" (Luke 14:21-23). We want to see churches in Central California and worldwide become disability aware, friendly, and effective.
